School under the Sky — an international primary school
We open schools in the poorest regions of the world, where children have no other way to learn.
How the school works:
- up to 80 pupils in one class;
- a local teacher;
- three to five lessons a day;
- a snack during lessons;
- a five-day school week.
The School under the Sky in Uganda opened on 8 June 2026. Thirty children study here now, able for the first time to attend lessons regularly and to learn reading, writing and arithmetic.
Lessons take place outdoors, under a canopy — no permanent buildings, no expensive infrastructure. This format lets us open schools quickly wherever children have spent years without access to education.

Many children in Uganda's poorest districts have no way of studying regularly. We help them get a basic education and take the first step towards learning more.
